As an HVAC and Plumbing Helper you will be responsible for assisting HVAC mechanics and plumbers to assemble and install heating, ventilation, refrigeration, and/or cooling systems, plumbing systems and fixtures.
Essential Job Functions include (but are not limited to):

- Cut or drill holes in walls to permit passage of pipes, ducts, wires, etc., using appropriate power tools.
- Select specific type and size of pipe and duct. Mount hangers and brackets on walls and ceiling to hold duct.
- Assist with install of valves, couplings and other fittings.
- Disassemble and remove damaged or worn duct, pipe and equipment.
Qualifications include (but not limited to):
Must possess current valid driver's license. High School Diploma or GED is required. Vo-tech or trades experience preferred. Background check required. Must be able to stand or walk for long periods. Must be able to lift and carry, push and pull materials weighing 50 to 100 lbs. Ability to climb up and down ladders, scaffolds and other objects, and carry tools and equipment. Be able to stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, and see naturally or with correction. May work in confined spaces, small crawlspaces or in high places.
